Mary Jo Busse is a Class “A” Member of the PGA of America. She has been teaching golf for over 35 years. Mary Jo graduated from Iowa State University with a Business degree and was also on the Golf team.

Presently she is working at Great Oaks Country Club, she has been there since 2006. Other teaching experience has been at Carl’s Golfland conducting group clinics and numerous individual lessons. Mary Jo was also an Assistant Golf Professional for 4 years each at Orchard Lake Country Club and Point O’Woods Country Club (both of them in Michigan). Her first job in the golf business was at Dubuque Golf & Country Club and was the 1st female Golf Assistant in the State of Iowa.

Mary Jo lives in Rochester Hills, married to Perry Busse, also a PGA member. She has two children who played college golf (Austin Peay State & Wayne State University). Mary Jo is very passionate about the game of golf and is very excited to help all of you play better golf!!
